Casing - Embossed & Non - Embossed Molding
Back Bands add a decorative touch to the casing and make the resulting casing significantly wider and thicker. For example, to make the
combination casing below, Casing 41-34, Back Band 41 (BD 41) is added to Casing 34 (CA 34). The resulting casing grows in width from
3-1/2" to 4-1/4"; and grows in thickness from 3/4" to 1-1/2".
Built-Up Casing using Back Bands:

Casing is used to frame doors and windows to give a finished and quality look to the room.
